Student Satisfaction Overview July 2021

  1. More than 90% of students prefer to have the EXCO teaching assistants because they make the training easier to understand, they are more friendly, and they can provide different ideas and examples. The supervisors/lecturers will teach the class with the EXCO teaching assistants to support the students who may need 1-1 help. Students will enjoy the benefit of both!
  2. From the recent student satisfaction survey, most students do not have any problem with the online learning management system.
  3. Most students feel that Zoom Classes, E-Textbooks and the Lecture Videos are very useful for student learning and future development.
  4. Most students have ranked the usefulness of research projects highly!

 

Additional Insights and New Developments July 2021!

  1. Insight and New Development
    1. A few students prefer to undergo campus classes without the help of the EXCO teaching assistants and instead with direct supervision only from the Supervisors.
    2. We have decided to open Classroom 3 for these learners who prefer not to have help from EXCO teaching assistants.

    1. Some students have requested for more learning and opportunity to write your answers!
    2. We have added an additional learning survey after each class where students can write in what they have learnt for that class for review by the supervisors!

    1. A few have requested for special help for weak students.
    2. We shall add more extra 1-1 help at the campus for weaker students!

    1. Some students have requested help with English!
    2. We have decided to increase the learning duration of our IELTS from 4 months to 8 months to those who may need more time to learn slowly!

    1. A few students have requested for the EXCO teaching assistants to have formal training to create a better learning experience.
    2. We will be sending all EXCO teaching assistants for fully sponsored formal training/studying to equip them to assist the supervisors/lecturers to improve the learning experience of our students as 1 GEA Family!
