An executive education executive is a professional who is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality and impactful executive education programs for senior leaders, managers, and professionals from various industries and sectors. An executive education executive’s main goal is to provide relevant, practical, and innovative learning solutions that meet the needs and expectations of the clients and the participants.

Some of the typical duties of an executive education executive are

  1. Conducting market research and analysis to identify the current and emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities in executive education.
  2. Developing and managing the executive education portfolio, curriculum, content, and delivery methods, in collaboration with internal and external faculty, experts, and partners.
  3. Coordinating and overseeing the logistics, operations, and administration of executive education programs, such as budgeting, scheduling, marketing, enrolment, evaluation, and reporting.
  4. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and participants, and providing them with excellent customer service and support.
  5. Evaluating and assessing the effectiveness and impact of executive education programs, and providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.
  6. Communicating and collaborating with internal teams, such as sales, marketing, finance, or legal, to ensure alignment and coordination of executive education activities.

To be a successful executive education executive, you need to have the following skills and qualifications

  1. A recognised bachelor’s degree or a 3-year diploma in the relevant discipline or field of study. A professional certification in executive education is a plus.
  2. At least 3 years of experience working on a relevant project with an academic institution.
  3. Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  4. Strong leadership, project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a complex and diverse environment.
  6. Knowledge of the latest trends, best practices, and standards in executive education.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and LMS software.
  8. Willing and able to travel regularly to and from Singapore where required.
